ENTIDAD DE CONSERVACIÓN ISLA VALDECAÑAS
La Entidad de Conservación está integrada por las Comunidades de Propietarios de Isla Valdecañas, por el Hotel Vincci Valdecañas Golf y por los Excelentísimos Ayuntamientos de El Gordo y Berrocalejo.
De ella depende la conservación de las amplias zonas comunes del complejo Isla Valdecañas (jardinería, gestión de residuos, viales…), mantener las infraestructuras de la Isla (gestión del agua potable y de riego: captación, bombeo, potabilización, distribución, depuración), mantenimiento de alumbrado público, de las zonas deportivas y de recreo (zona deportiva, piscina, playa, club social) y gestión de la seguridad de la isla (auxiliares, circuito de video vigilancia…).
En la isla Valdecañas se han sustituido 7.706 eucaliptos por más de 200.000 unidades de plantas, árboles y arbustos, que sumados a los más de 75.000 m2 de césped han convertido la isla en un paraíso natural.
Isla Valdecañas ocupa una superficie de 133Ha, de la cual casi el 90% está ocupado por vegetación (árboles, arbustos, plantas y césped). Sólo un 6% aproximadamente ocuparía la totalidad de la edificación prevista en Isla Valdecañas.

THE ISLA VALDECAÑAS CONSERVATION ENTITY
The Conservation Entity consists of the Property Owner´s Association of Isla Valdecañas as well as of the Vincci Valdecañas Golf, and town halls of El Gordo and Berrocalejo. This entity is responsible for the upkeep of the extensive shared areas of the Isla Valdecañas complex (gardening, waste management, roads…), maintenance of island infraestructures (dringing an irrigation water management: uptake, pumping, purification, distribution, treatment), maintenance of public lighting, sporting and recreational areas (sporting, pool, beach and social club areas), and the management of island security (security guards, video, surveillance, network, etc).
In Isla Valdecañas some 7.706 eucaliptus trees were substituted for over 200.000 plants, trees and bushes which, along with the 75000+ m2 of grass, hace converted the island into a natural paradise.
Isla Vadecañas has a surface area of 133 ha, of swich, almost 90% contains vegetation (trees, bushes, plants and grass). Only approximately 6% is to be occupied by building structures.
